The research program “THE WORLD OF THE PALAIOLOGAN ROMANCE. Representations of Self and Society in the Greek Narrative works of the Late Medieval period (thirteenth – fifteenth centuries). A Multidisciplinary Approach to Identity, Otherness, Gender and Ideology.” (WPR 1918), with PI ZISSIS AINALIS and academic councilor professor IOANNIS SMARNAKIS is implemented in the Department of Social Anthropology and History in the School of Social Sciences of the University of the Aegean.

IN COLLABORATION WITH:
1) The College of Arts and Law, School of History and Culture, Centre for Byzantine, Ottoman and Modern Greek Studies of the University of Birmingham andProfessor LESLIE BRUBAKER.
2) The Faculty of Languages, Department of Linguistics and Philology, Greek and Byzantine Studies of the University of Uppsala and Professor INGELA NILSSON.
